Why a diamond certificate?
A certificate is for your protection.  It is also a great tool for comparison.  A certificate is not a complete description of the diamond though.  Always remember, you are buying a diamond not a piece of paper.  You must view the diamond and not make a decision based on the certificate.  We do think that narrowing down your decision by comparing certificates is helpful. 

Why do we use two (2) certification laboratories?
It is our opinion that we should not decide for you that you can’t have a second choice.  We carry both G.I.A. (Gemological Institute of America) and E.G.L. (European Gemological Laboratory) certificates for you to choose from.  We feel there is a difference between the two labs.  The G.I.A. certificate diamond is usually more stringently graded as reflected in the price.  The E.G.L certificate diamond is more loosely graded but considerably less expensive.  Again, we reinforce the saying, “you’re buying a diamond not a piece of paper”.  Some of the most beautiful diamonds I have ever seen had E.G.L certificates with them.  We have also seen many beautiful certificates with some very unattractive diamonds!  You must always see the diamond to make a final decision.

That is why we have our free return policy.  If you are not satisfied with your diamond, return it and we will even pay your shipping.  It costs you nothing to make your decision based on the beauty of the diamond, and not the piece of paper(certificate) attached to it.
